A Portland, Tennessee man was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on I-40 West in Putnam County on Thursday morning. According to the THP, around 8:30am Christopher Mooneyhan, age 54, was driving a tractor-trailer near the 275 miler marker when the semi went off the interstate and through a cable barrier and struck another tractor trailer. Mooneyhan’s truck hit an embankment and caught fire. Mr. Monneyhan died from his injuries. The driver of the other truck managed to pull over to the shoulder and was not injured.
