The explosive device found in a storage shed on Vaughn Street Tuesday evening has been identified as a live M6 Bazooka round from WWII.  Officials think it was a training round, which is not as powerful as a full round, but can be deadly just the same.  Crossville Fire Chief Chris South said his Department requested a 300-foot radius evacuation near the site where the round was discovered.  With assistance from the Knox County Sheriff’s Department Bomb Squad, the Bazooka round was transported to an area off Bradshaw Lane in Westel, where it was detonated around 1 a.m. Wednesday morning (6/9/21).
