By Ronni Chase Jun 8, 2021 | 9:46 AM

The Tennessee Department Of Transportation says someone has pulled the power cord out of the ground from the overhead sign on the I-40 overpass at Ashburn Drive in Cumberland County.  The vandalism was reported during the Memorial Day weekend.  The cable was pulled from the conduit underground near mile marker 333 and cut in several places.  TDOT says this is the third time this has happened in the past two years.  Repairs are estimated to cost between $6,000 and $8,000.  No suspects have been named at this time.
