Gas prices across Tennessee held steady over Memorial Day weekend. Tuesday’s state gas price average is the same price as one week ago. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $2.87 which is 17 cents more than one month ago and $1.15 more than one year ago. At $3.04, the national gas price average only increased one penny leading up to Memorial Day weekend. The majority of states saw no change to pump prices or a decline on the week. Today’s average is $1.05 more than last year at this time and 15 cents more expensive than last month.
