At its regular monthly meeting Thursday night, the Cumberland County Board of Education announced that the mask mandate in county schools ends after this Friday, May 28, 2021. Masks will not be required for summer school or the 2021-2022 school year unless Governor Lee issues another State of Emergency due to COVID-19.
