The Crossville City Council met in special session on Thursday to bid on approximately 24 acres between Webb Avenue and Iris Lane. Council approved a motion to place a maximum bid of $550,000, not including a ten percent buyers premium. Bidding closed at $540,000 with the city as the winning bidder. Council is looking to build an indoor recreation facility on the property.
