The search for a missing North Carolina hiker came to a tragic end Saturday afternoon. Authorities in Rhea County say they have found the body of Curtis Williams in the Morgan Springs area of Pocket Wilderness. The search began May 11 in Rhea County and Mr. Williams’ dog was reportedly found days later in Pikeville. Williams was described as an experienced hiker and officials have not said what may have caused his death.
