Warren County Middle School Principal Gerald Tidwell passed away Saturday in Manchester, Tennessee after he collapsed on the field during a baseball game. He was 54. Not only was he a principal but also an umpire and referee for many years with the TSSAA. Tidwell was about to complete his 10th year as principal of Warren County Middle School. Tidwell is survived by his wife Valerie, who is a teacher at Morrison Elementary, and two sons Jordan and Daniel.
