EMS collections topped $536,000 dollars, and while above estimates for the month, collections remain slightly down for the year. Tourism revenue gained ground, with hotel and motel taxes rising to nearly $257,000. However, building permit fees fell to $35,700 with no commercial permits issued, and early property tax collections are trailing last year’s pace.
