FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING…
* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE…A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following counties, Cannon, Cumberland, De Kalb, Putnam, Smith, Van Buren, Warren, White and Wilson.
* WHEN…From late tonight through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…- Remnants of Hurricane Isaias will move north and bring periods of heavy rain to Middle Tennessee. Widespread totals of 1-3″ of rain are expected with locally higher amounts possible.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
…WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 8 PM CDT SATURDAY…
* WHAT…East winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.
* WHERE…A portion of Middle Tennessee.
* WHEN…From 4 AM to 8 PM CDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
