The Monterey Police Department would like to pause and take a moment to honor K9 Fanta. You served the Town of Monterey and your partner Jeremy Beard with everything you had. We honor your service from 2015-2020. Your watch is done, you have crossed over, rest easy!!!!!!!!
According to a Facebook post, K9 Fanta had an exceptional personality and loved peanut butter treats, especially peanut butter birthday cake. She would have been 14 on November 7th and is greatly missed by the Beard family.
