Cumberland County Mayor Allen Foster has recognized a group of archers from 4 local schools who competed in the International Bowhunting Organization World Championship in Davis, West Virginia, last month. Students from Stone Memorial High School, Cumberland County High School, Homestead Elementary, and Crab Orchard Elementary tackled challenging 3-D courses through the woods to compete on the world stage. Mayor Foster praised the students not just for their skill under pressure, but also for their sportsmanship and how well they represented the county.
