Pikeville, Tennessee – Sheriff Jimmy Morris is proud to announce the successful completion of Bledsoe Shield, a countywide months-long crime suppression operation conducted by the Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Office.
Bledsoe Shield was a targeted enforcement initiative focused on locating and arresting individuals involved in illegal drug activity, violent crime, and those with outstanding warrants. During the operation, deputies and detectives conducted numerous investigations, executed search warrants, served arrest warrants, and worked proactively to remove offenders from the community.
Bledsoe Shield resulted in multiple arrests, the seizure of illegal narcotics, firearms, and other evidence related to ongoing criminal investigations. Additional charges are expected as investigators continue reviewing evidence and pursuing leads developed during the operation.
Sheriff Jimmy Morris stated, “I applaud the efforts and commitment that my deputies and detectives bring each day to protecting and serving the citizens of Bledsoe County. We will continue efforts to apprehend those that threaten the safety of our citizens.”
According to the press release the following people face charges. They are considered innocent until proven guilty.
