The Art Circle Public Library is mourning the loss of Dolly Parton.
On Facebook the Library said “Cumberland County signed on to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in 2005 to give our children the best start in life. Inspired by Dolly Parton’s own dad, who couldn’t read or write.
While our hearts are incredibly sad today, we’re more inspired than ever to continue this important mission. Together, we are building a brighter future for our children.
Thank you for supporting our work and Dolly’s legacy.”
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library provides free new books for children from birth to age five.
Cumberland County residents may get a registration form at the Art Circle Public Library.
