The long wait is over as the Tennessee Vols name a starting quarterback for the upcoming football season.
Coach Heupel announced that freshman Faizon Brandon will take the snaps against Furman on week 1.
Brandon lead his high school, Grimsley (NC) to consecutive state championships and was a 5-star recruit coming out of high school. Faizon beat sophomore George MacIntyre for the starting spot, a battle that’s been brewing since spring training.
