Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, Deputy Gov. and Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter and Dometic officials announced Thursday (Aug. 20, 2026)  the company will expand its manufacturing operations in White County.

Dometic will create 90+ new positions and invest in White County as part of the expansion of its existing manufacturing facility in Sparta. The project includes the relocation of steering and helm manufacturing operations from Pennsylvania to Tennessee, further strengthening the company’s manufacturing presence in the state.

The Sparta facility manufactures marine products as part of Dometic’s global Marine business. Upon completion of the project, the expansion will increase manufacturing capacity while supporting the company’s continued growth in Tennessee.

Following completion of the expansion, Dometic will employ more than 300 people across Tennessee. (Photo courtesy Dometic)
