Crossville Police Officers responded to Cornerstone Baptist Church on Tenth Street following reports of a man attempting to open church doors and enter parked vehicles. Upon contact, 39-year-old Alan Wayne Campbell claimed he was picking up trash. During a consensual search, officers discovered nearly 49 grams of marijuana in Campbell’s backpack, along with two Percocet pills in a nearby cigarette pack. Campbell was taken into custody and charged with simple possession and manufacturing, delivery, or sale of schedule six drugs.
