Unapproved After-School Care Program

Crossville, TN –  Attention Cumberland County Parents:

It recently came to our attention that a local business has been advertising after-school care using multiple school facilities during the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. To utilize Cumberland County Schools’ schools / facilities for any purpose, our school district publishes and adheres to a strict approval process (Board Policy No. 3.206). The local business at issue here never received approval to utilize multiple facilities for after-school care.

Only one local business –Crossroads Academy– applied for and received approval to use Cumberland County School District’s Cumberland County High School for an after-school program during the 2026-2027 school year. If you paid a holding fee / deposit to any other business claiming to utilize our facilities next school year, please contact the Cumberland County Board of Education, the Crossville Police Department or the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office immediately.
