Former Cumberland County Superintendent of Schools Arlon Way Dies at 85

Arlon Way, former superintendent of schools, passed away on June 6th. He was 85. During his career in Cumberland County education, he worked as a teacher, assistant principal, and elected superintendent. His wife, Jane Way, also worked for the school system for 47 years. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 13th, at 1:00 PM at Bilbrey Funeral Home in Crossville. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
