TVA is warning about low lake levels as much of the Tennessee Valley remains in severe or extreme drought. The Authority says runoff across the eastern Tennessee Valley is currently the fourth lowest in 152 years of recorded history. Lake levels may fall even lower this summer. Boaters and anglers are reminded to be extra cautious in shallow areas and on the alert for exposed hazards.
