A Crossville man has been charged with Aggravated Assault after he allegedly launched an unprovoked attack on a man who was riding a bicycle on Goodwin Circle. Multiple Witnesses said 60-year-old Mark Thomas Kelly, Jr. chased the victim, put him in a headlock, drug him off his bike, and punched him repeatedly in the face and head with a closed fist. The victim told police he does not know Mr. Kelly and had never met him prior to the attack. Police transported Kelly to the Cumberland County Justice Center for Booking and report he was also found to be under the influence of a mind altering substance.
