The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office congratulates Deputy Avery Aytes on his retirement after 31 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Cumberland County. Deputy Aytes began his career in 1995 as a Reserve Deputy before accepting a full-time position in Patrol in 1996. In 2013, he transitioned into the role of School Resource Officer, where he continued serving with professionalism, compassion, and dedication to the youth of our community.
