Crossville Police arrested a North Carolina man on Monday, May 18, 2026 after getting a call from residents on Goodwin Circle of a suspicious man claiming to be from Verizon and fearing it was a scam. A check of the suspect, 42-year-old Jeremy Adam Waller, revealed he was wanted in Florida for full extradition on Felony Aggravated Stalking and his pretrial release to be revoked. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland County Justice Center.
