The Lady Vols Softball team are Super Regional bound after winning the Knoxville Region on Sunday.
Star pitcher Karlyn Pickens pitched a complete game Sunday en route to a 5-1 0ver the Virginia Cavaliers. Pickens, who was the first pick of the AUSL Draft, allowed two hits while striking out nine batters. UT’s Knight, Dodge, Holley, and Faw scored the runs for the Lady Vols.
#7 Tennessee will host the Super Regional at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium in Knoxville against a Southeastern foe in the #10 Georgia Bulldogs.
