TVA Awards $10,000 Each to Pleasant Hill and Homestead Schools to Reduce Energy Bills

The Tennessee Valley Authority has awarded $10,000 each to Pleasant Hill and Homestead elementary schools to reduce their power bills.  On Friday, TVA announced that 121 schools across the Tennessee Valley region will receive over $3.3 million for energy and classroom upgrades. The funds come from TVA’s School Uplift program, which has invested about $13 million to help over 440 schools across seven states reduce their energy bills since 2021.
