Roane County Sheriff’s Deputy Terminated for Violating Standards of Conduct Policy

The Roane County Sheriff’s Office has terminated a Deputy for engaging in policy violations pertaining to Standards of Conduct while off duty. In a press release, the Sheriff’s Office said it learned of the violations on May 6^th and the Deputy was terminated immediately after an Internal Affairs investigation.  The Sheriff’s Office did not specify the violations or identify the Deputy. The incident will be turned over to the 9^th Judicial District Attorney General’s Office for review.
