Registration is now open for the for the 2026 Cumberland County Sheriff’s Youth Academy! This program is open to students entering 4th grade and up who want to learn, grow, and experience what it’s like to work in law enforcement.
This isn’t just a camp—it’s a week full of hands-on activities, teamwork, leadership development, and real-world experiences with our deputies.
Academy Dates:
High School (Grades 9–12): June 1–5 (8a-2p)
Middle School (Grades 6–8): June 15–19 (8a-2p)
Elementary (Grades 4–5): June 22–26 (8a-12p)
Cost: $25 per cadet
(No limit on participants—everyone is welcome!)

Stone Memorial High School June 26 @ 6:00 PM
Throughout the week, cadets will build skills in:
Teamwork Leadership Respect, Professionalism, and Integrity Problem-solving and decision-makingThey’ll also get a behind-the-scenes look at different areas of law enforcement—including patrol, investigations, and more.
This is an incredible opportunity for young people in our community to step up, learn, and be part of something bigger than themselves.
