The Fentress County Sheriff’s Office reports that K9 Roka has received a K9 Medical Kit, also called a Buddy Bag, through the generous support of Protection4Paws, a nonprofit organization based in Pennsylvania. The application process for this kit was submitted and secured by Narcotics Officer Kris Lewallen as part of ongoing efforts to ensure K9 Roka has the equipment needed to operate safely in the field. The kit, valued at $400, contains critical medical supplies designed to provide immediate care to K9 partners in the event of a serious injury. (Photo courtesy Fentress County Sheriff’s Office)
