A 3-month old girl and her grandfather were found dead in Tullahoma on Wednesday (Dec. 3, 2025) after they were mauled by the family’s pitbulls. The call came in around 3pm to the Coffee County Communications Center. The deceased adult was identified as 50-year-old James Alexander Smith. There were seven dogs and police had to kill some of them to stop the attack. The investigation is ongoing.
