The NCAA has approved Jacksonville State University’s plan to hire Former Vols Head Football Coach Jeremy Pruitt as an analyst. He was fired by UT in 2021 following an investigation of alleged recruiting violations and in 2023 the NCAA sentenced Pruitt to a six-year show cause order. Jax State must submit a yearly report to the NCAA regarding Pruitt’s responsibilities and the show cause order remains in effect until July 2029.
