A Cookeville man was arrested following a wreck on the Peavine Road overpass. Deputy Kemmer learned it began as a road rage incident on I-40. Crossville Police say the driver of the Jeep, 28-year-old Mathew Alex Horn, had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes and there was an open IPA in the center console. Mr. Horn also reportedly admitted that his license was suspended due to a prior DUI. After conducting a standardized field sobriety test, Police arrested Horn and transported him to the Cumberland County Jail. He was charged with Driving Under the Influence and Traffic Violations.
