Hamilton County Emergency Medical Service, along with the Chattanooga Fire Department, Chattanooga Police Department, and multiple other agencies responded to the rock quarry at Greenway Farms for a possible drowning on Friday (Oct. 17, 2025). Rescue crews recovered a body from the quarry that night and the investigation is ongoing.
