It was a historic Tuesday for the Tennessee Lady Vols Soccer team as they were ranked as the best team in the nation. The Lady Vols, who sat at #2 the past two weeks behind Stanford, moved up to the #1 spot after Stanford lost to UCLA over the weekend. This is the first time in School history that the soccer team has seen the number one next to their name. Duke is now sitting at #2, Stanford & UCLA are tied for #3, and Virginia is now ranked 5th.
#1 Tennessee holds a record of 6 wins 0 losses and 1 draw and have yet to allow a goal through seven games. The #1 Tennessee Lady Volunteers will be on the road to open up Southeastern Conference place Friday taking on Mississippi State at 6:00 PM.
