Stolen Vehicle Recovered, One Charged

A vehicle stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Wells Road was recovered over the weekend.  Crossville Police received a call Saturday from a woman who said a tall, blonde male walked into the residence and took her keys.  After a brief struggle, the unknown male took off in the victim’s 2000 Lexus SUV.  The victim said the male subject came with another woman that she did know.  Deputies located the vehicle on Highway 70 North. The driver, 30-year-old Darian Nicole Wyrick, reportedly refused to speak with Deputies.  Because Ms. Wyrick did not match the description of anyone involved in the initial theft of the vehicle, she was charged with being in possession of a stolen vehicle.  The male suspect had not been identified at the time of the report.
