A Livingston man was charged after Crossville Police noticed the registration did not match the vehicle he was pushing in the Buc-ee’s parking lot Sunday night. When Police told 24-year-old Chase William Wood Riffner about the registration issue, he said the Nissan 240 SX belonged to his girlfriend who he claimed was inside Buc-ee’s. He said he was not driving the vehicle. When asked for identification, Police say Riffner position himself to attempt to flee. A check with Dispatch confirmed that Riffner had a suspended Tennessee driver’s license and warrants out of Georgia. Riffner was transported to the Cumberland County Justice Center where he was charged with Stop, Halt, Frisk.
