A diabetic man escaped serious injury after he reportedly passed out behind the wheel and crashed. Crossville Police say it happened shortly before noon Monday (8/4/2025) in the 1600 block of North Main Street. The 60-year-old man was driving northbound when his 2002 white Mazda pickup truck went across the median and hit a pole at a vacant gas station. He refused transport to the hospital. He was issued a misdemeanor citation for driving on a suspended license. The truck was towed due to damage.
