According to officials in Rhea County, a 78 year old woman fell 20 feet while hiking in the Laurel Snow Pocket Wilderness area near Dayton, Tennessee on Saturday. Rescuers worked for over four hours to stabilize and rescue the woman who was later airlifted by a Blackhawk helicopter from the Tennessee Army National Guard to UT Hospital in Knoxville.
