A Crossville man was arrested after he reportedly broke into a residence on Turkey Blind Road Thursday night (7/3/2025) and assaulted a woman. The victim said 55-year-old Phillip Paul Larsen walked up to the home and broke the A/C unit out of a window and then broke through the front door. Larsen then allegedly picked up a metal broom stick and went towards a bedroom occupied by the 35-year-old female victim and a 38-year-old man. The woman says Larsen stabbed the metal broom stick through the bedroom door and punctured her lower back, while threatening to kill her and using racial slurs. Larsen then left the home. Local law enforcement utilized a K9 and tracked Larsen down in a wooded area behind a residence on Critter Creek Road. Phillip Larsen was transported to Cumberland County Intake for Aggravated Assault involving domestic and Aggravated Burglary.
