The Crossville Police Department is investigating an incident involving counterfeit currency after a man attempted to pay for groceries with a fake $100 bill at the Dollar General Market. According to store manager, the man approached the counter with a cart full of items and handed the cashier what appeared to be a $100 bill. The cashier immediately noticed that the bill was marked “For Motion Picture Use Only”. When questioned, the man reportedly told the manager that the bill had come from his roommate. However, the suspect left the store before police arrived. The man was described as wearing a blue hat, blue shirt, khaki pants, and a black backpack.
