Sales tax revenue up slightly for the latest period for the city of Crossville

Sales tax collection in Crossville edged up slightly for July, according to the latest figures from Crossville City Manager Valerie Hale. Hale reports collections of $1.06 million for the period, up from the previous year by almost $70,000.  Wholesale beer taxes were at $63,000 while liquor income was at just under $32,000. Proceeds from the hotel occupancy tax stood at slightly over $16,000 for the last period reported.
