The THP, along with the Trousdale County Sheriff’s Department, Fire Department and other first responders escorted Trooper Cothron home Friday night as people lined the streets to show their support.

Trooper Cothron has made tremendous progress since the shooting but he still faces a lenthy recovery and must use a wheelchair.  His wife Gena posted to Facebook in late August that Adam has been able to move both legs a little and his family thanks everyone for your continued prayers.

Two men have been charged in the shooting of Trooper Cothron.

Timothy Davis Jr.  is charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Braze Rucker is with charge of facilitation of attempted first-degree murder.
