McMinnville is among 78 communities statewide that that will receive Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) to assist with infrastructure improvements, housing rehabilitations and health and safety initiatives. The CDBG program is funded through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
McMinnville will receive $630,000 for Sewer System Enhancement.
Cannon County will get a $420,000 CDBG grant for Fire Protection.
DeKalb County will receive more than $352,000 for Ambulance Service.
Bell Buckle will get a $630,000 grant for Sewer Rehabilitation.
