Crossville City Manager, Greg Wood, has submitted his resignation letter effective August 31st, 2022 after being suspended by council earlier. Wood’s departure follows recent procedural errors in the condemnation of the Village Inn. Wood was hired in 2017 and recently received good performance reviews from the council, as well as receiving an extension on his contract. The Crossville City Council has scheduled a special called session for Tuesday, August 16th at 1:30 to discuss the resignation.
