The Tennessee Commission on Aging and Disability (TCAD) has announced it is opening the application process for senior centers throughout the state to apply for grant funding.
As part of the state’s FY22-23 budget, the Tennessee General Assembly allocated $1 Million for senior center grants, which marks a $600,000 increase from the previous fiscal year. The funds will be distributed through a competitive grant process, awarding $8,000 to 125 senior centers.
