Cumberland Mountain State Park along with 38 other Tennessee State Parks will offer volunteer work events on Saturday, June 25 for Tennessee Promise scholars to fulfill their community service hours. Students wishing to volunteer at Cumberland Mountain State Park must register by June 24, 2022. Some parks will hold volunteer events before June 25. Activities for the workday at various parks include cleanup, removing invasive plants, landscaping, trail work, spreading mulch, and painting. Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate clothing for the work and bring items such as water, snacks, and sunscreen.
