City of Crossville sales tax revenue remains strong

Crossville City Manager Greg Wood reports sales tax collections for February are above the previous year. The City’s share of sales tax came in at just under $790,000. Wholesale beer tax collections are up for the  year at $495,000 while liquor sales are flat for the year.  Collections of the hotel occupancy tax have bounced back since the first days of the pandemic. Revenue for hotel rental is at $152,000 for the fiscal year.
