School board candidates ran as partisan for the first time ever

In the  School Board District 5 race on Tuesday,  Nicholas J. Davis won the nomination with 702 votes over opponent Randall Hopkins who picked up 295 votes. In District 3, Sheri Nichols won the nomination and will face off against Democrat contender Nicholas Rummell. The 1st District will see Elizabeth Stull unopposed in the General Election, as well as 9th District candidate Shannon Stout.  Patrica Lewis will be an Independent candidate for 7th District School Board against Becky Hamby.
