A Palmer, Tennessee man who lost his left hand after an apparent pipe bomb explosion Saturday may face charges.  Police say 33-year-old Carl James Arnold showed up at the emergency room in Dunlap with injuries consistent with an explosion.  Grundy County deputies conducted a search of Mr. Arnold’s home and reportedly discovered three additional tubes suspected of being pipe bombs in the back of a truck.  They also found 70 pounds of marijuana, four firearms, a Glock handgun and $7,700 cash.  The ATF has been requested to assist in the investigation.  Arnold could face federal charges for manufacturing an explosive device.
