The Cumberland County Board of Education voted 5 to 4 to enter contract negotiations with Mr. William Stepp for the Director of Schools position. The post became available when current Director of Schools Dr. Ina Maxwell announced her resignation effective at the end of this school year. Mr. Stepp is a Crossville native and is the Principal of Upperman High School in Putnam County.
