Dr. Ina Maxwell has announced her plans to retire as Director of Cumberland County Schools effective June 30, 2022. In a statement released to the Cumberland County Board of Education, Dr. Maxwell wrote:
“It has been a tremendous privilege to have served as your Director of Schools for the past two years. The kindness and respect that you have extended to me has been so appreciated. I look forward to all the great things that we will continue to do for our students!”
